Five Questions You SHOULD ASK before buying a crib mattress for your infant!
1. Is the mattress made from all natural components? The mattress your baby sleeps on must be made from all natural components to avoid any allergic reactions!
2. What is the mattress’s structure look like?If the crib mattress’s structure is compact, the accumulated humidity from sleeping cannot evaporate. Choose a firm mattress that has a more loose structure!
3. How firm is the crib mattress?Did you know that the first eight months of babies’ life is the most critical period in spine development? Choose a mattress with a solid sleep surface: test the mattress with your hand (finger) whether it sinks into the surface. The more resistance, the firmer the mattress.
4. Is the mattress hand-washable?Accidents can happen, so cleaning the mattress is an important factor! Choose a mattress that is easy to clean under the shower and dries quickly. Additionally, a light weight mattress makes changing the sheets much easier than conventional mattress.
5. Can the baby breathe while lying on his tummy?If you would like to have peaceful nights, make sure the mattress is firm with more loose structure, so it could contribute to your infant’s easy breathing even he lies on his tummy.
